Onsite Fueling
The Automated Wireless Fleet Fueling application was designed to automate the fueling of groups of vehicles or units that are parked or stationary. Tough governmental regulations for fuel storage tanks made it difficult for fleet owners such as soft drink distributors, freight & package haulers and school bus companies to fuel their own vehicles. Having fleets fueled onsite has been a major solution for companies operating fleets of vehicles.
Logistics
Onsite fueling can be a very difficult process for the Fuel Marketer. The logistics involved requires a tremendous amount of data collection. The manual process becomes a nightmare of paperwork along with a labor intensive work load for the drivers that are handling the fueling. Drivers have to multitask, while they are constantly running back and forth to the meter to record the gallons they are pumping into each vehicle. Drivers really struggle to keep up with the data collection requirements. On top of all the workload they have to perform the fueling and paperwork in the harshest of weather. For this reason many Fuel Marketers have avoided offering on-site fueling.
